Join us at The House of the Seven Gables on Saturday, April 9 for an intimate chamber music concert celebrating Gables’ founder, Caroline Emmerton, on her birthday month. Three of Boston's premier musicians, members of the Handel and Haydn Society, will present a program of string trios composed by Beethoven and Mozart on period instruments from the 18th century. 

A catered reception will precede each concert in the charming Hooper-Hathaway House (c. 1682) – a structure rescued from demolition by Emmerton in 1911.

All proceeds benefit The House of the Seven Gables.

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827): String trio in G, Op. 9 no. 1

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 – 1791): Divertimento for string trio in E-flat, K. 563
